RESERVATIONS POLICY

Pricing

All the prices quoted in this website are net prices per person. These are in American dollars (USD $), and include 8% sales taxes. Please note that these prices are subject to changes without previous notification. To find the prices just look at the product you want to learn about.

Information found in our page

Each section containing information is illustrated with related pictures.

Minimum required

The minimum required for most of our tours is 1 pax, so no-one gets left behind. For some tours offered by our third party providers the minimum required may vary from 2 or more pax. 

Reservations, deposits and final payments.
It is recommended preferably to make reservations 4 days in advance, especially for the time of more tourist affluence (November to May and  July and August). Wait for email approval if making a reservation  with less than 3 days of anticipation. Having been approved the package by Best Tours CR the reservations will be carried out once the payment has been made. We take down-payments, just email us from the product page to requested. The cancellation of the balance will be made a 24 hours before the specified date of arrival or the day of the tour by PayPal. If the customers do not show the day of the tour then Best Tours Costa Rica will not give refunds.

In all the cases, the confirmation of the package will be subject to readiness of the services required in the moment that is carried out the total payment of the package. The payments can be made by PayPal.

Groups

Those groups of 10 and up can take the “Additional price” from the price list and those of 20 and up can take the “Children’s price”, see the picture below. Groups have to make reservations 15 days in advance and pay the whole amount by then. Wait for email approval if making a reservation  with less than 15 days of anticipation. Having been approved the package by Best Tours CR the reservations will be carried out once the payment has been made. We take down-payments, just email us from the product page to requested. The cancellation of the balance will be made a 5 days before the specified date of arrival or the day of the tour by PayPal. If the customers do not show the day of the tour then Best Tours Costa Rica will not give refunds.  

Prices

Quads, Side by sides and ocean activities.

These services are excluded from the groups rule. Email us for groups requiring more than 10 machines.

Cancellations, changes and refunds.
The cancellation applications or changes should be presented in writing to our e-mail: reservations@besttourscr.com. A 100% is charged to the cancellations made within 24 hours.

Groups have to request cancelations 5 days in advance for a full refund.

  • Reservations canceled within 5 days are penalized 0%
  • Reservations canceled within 4 days are penalized 20%
  • Reservations canceled within 3 days are penalized 40%
  • Reservations canceled within 2 days are penalized 60%
  • Reservations canceled within 1 day are penalized 100%

Refunds are not applicable once initiated the trip, as well as none used portions of the package.

We do our tours in the sun and rain!

Costa Rica has two seasons, dry and rainy. we recommend to pack rain jackets to protect yourselves  and your electronic devices, especially in the rainy season. If the climatic conditions are dangerous according to our providers and our expertise then we will reschedule the activities or refund 100% 

The dry season goes from December – April, and the raining season goes from May – November, to take it  into consideration when planning your activities. 

Operation of our services.

Our services are delegated to third party providers with outstanding customer service, passionate about what they do and happy to share. This service providers are independent transportation owners, drivers, tour guides, local fisherman, family run restaurants and theme parks.

Our customers are covered with our insurance while visiting cities, national parks and local beaches. When visiting themes parks then their insurance takes over our insurance in case it is needed.
